Scouts cancelled this week

Stake scouts and venturer activities were cancelled this week due to ward Christmas parties.  I'm sorry I didn't communicate this on the blog.  I was having technical difficulties that are now resolved.  It was on the facebook page (search "49th Lethbridge Stake Scout Group").

Scout Campout, November 29-30 CANCELLED

The Scout campout originally scheduled for Nov 29-30 has been postponed until February 2014.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Reminder about Food Assignments for Scouts Camp this weekend

Here is the list that the scouts put together for food items. We tried to make it very minimal cost for families. This is JUST for the Saturday morning breakfast. The Scout leaders will be providing the Saturday afternoon lunch.

 

Friday evening they should also be packing their own tin foil supper.

 

Saturday morning;

 

Pancake mix- Tyler Black, Tanner Orr (preferable water only mix)

Bacon- Nathan Goth, Kaden Roelofs (One pack will be fine)

Eggs- Logan, Radick, Regan Siever (One dozen each)

Juice mix- Clint Lamb

Update on Scout Camp, October 25-26

 Meet at LSC at 11:30. We leave 12:00 sharp.

Please bring tin foil dinner and assigned breakfast food.

Dress warm with layers, bring a change of clothes, and remember a warm sleeping bag or two for the chili nights.

Be prepared...to have fun....

We encourage all scouts to attend. It will be an excellent adventure!

Scout (ages 12-13) Campout at Writing-on-Stone

Meet at LSC at 12:00pm (TBD) on Friday, October 25
Bring dinner (e.g. tin foil dinner, mess kit, and camp essentials)
Bring assigned breakfast foods (assigned at Oct 16 activity)
Will return Saturday, October 26, afternoon (to be finalized at Oct. 16 activity)

Attention Venturers and parents:  Please meet at stake centre at 6pm for bike riding.  Bring a helmet, coat and bike.  The activity will be over around 7:30pm.  This time change is only for Wed, October 2!

Scouts (ages 12-13) will still meet 7-8:30pm at the church.  Please wear green scout shirt if you can (I know it is last minute, but if you have to get one, they are available at the scout shop for approx. $35).

 Nov 6^th- Citizenship 11-11 (Citizenship badge)

       20^th- Community Exploration (Campout, historic site, know
                your community)

 Dec 4^th- Community Service (food or toy drive)

        18^th- Citizenship (finalize)
